Rack Manager
Model racks and place equipment by rack unit and mount side.
Open Infrastructure > Rack Manager to model equipment layouts. Viewers can inspect racks; Editors and Admins can change them.
Create a rack with a name, location, height from 1 to 100U, description and sort order. Open it to switch between front and rear views and add a device. A placement can link to an Asset Manager record or use a standalone name, and includes start unit, height, mount side (front, rear or both), category, colour and notes.
Kaya rejects placements outside the rack or overlapping another item on the same visible side. It will not reduce rack height below the highest occupied unit. Layout changes made by dragging are validated by the server.
