Asset Manager
Record physical assets, photos, attachments and custom information.
Asset Manager tracks physical devices and their files. Open Infrastructure > Asset Manager.
Any signed-in user can browse, search and filter assets. An Editor or Admin can select Add Asset, enter the name and managed category, location and status values, add serial, manufacturer, model, purchase, warranty, network and notes information, then save. Custom fields configured by an Admin appear on the form.
On an asset detail page, Editors can update the record, upload a recognised image as its photo, attach supporting files, download attachments or use the Danger Zone to delete the asset. Deleting an asset also removes its attachment records and stored files and can affect a rack placement linked to that asset.
Viewer can read and download. Editor and Admin can create, edit, upload and delete. The global upload limit applies. Categories, locations, statuses and custom fields are Admin-managed.
