Notifications

Kaya provides three notification channels:

• In-app
• PWA Push
• Email

Notification Centre

Use the bell icon beside your avatar to view unread notifications, mark them as read and review notification history.

Notification Preferences

Open Avatar → Notification Preferences to choose which events you receive through each available channel.

Enabling Push Notifications

1. Open Kaya on the device.
2. Open Notification Preferences.
3. Enable Push Notifications.
4. Accept the browser permission request.
5. Enable Push for the required events.

iPhone & iPad

Install Kaya using Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen before enabling Push notifications.

Troubleshooting

If notifications are not received:

• Confirm the event was generated.
• Confirm your device is registered.
• Confirm notification permissions are enabled.
• Confirm the notification appears in Kaya.

If the notification exists in Kaya but not on your device, contact your administrator.
