DNS Manager
Inspect retained Pi-hole data, clients, queries, reports and advisory insights.
Open Networking > DNS Manager after an Admin configures an enabled Pi-hole provider.
The Dashboard shows provider health and headline statistics. Query Log provides bounded provider results and filters. Clients combines retained device, IP, hostname, lease and DNS-traffic history. Reports store investigations. Insights runs deterministic, provider-neutral rules and assigns Critical, Warning, Information or Healthy severity.
Insights are advisory observations, not proof of compromise. Editor or Admin can run analysis and acknowledge active items; acknowledgement does not resolve a condition. Kaya resolves a supported insight when a later successful evaluation no longer detects it and can reactivate the same record if it returns.
Background collection stores results and does not require a restart when database settings change. Ordinary dashboard and client pages use retained data, so they remain useful during a Pi-hole outage. Pi-hole exposes DNS lookups, not full browser URLs or page history.
Viewer can inspect data. Editor and Admin can analyse, acknowledge, create/delete investigations and manage confirmed VLAN/IP links. Only Admin configures the provider.
