IP/WAN Monitor
Monitor IP reachability and interpret status and uptime cards.
Open Monitoring > IP/WAN Monitor. Monitors are created from a VLAN/IP Manager record and contain a display name, interval and timeout.
The page shows current state, last check, response information and recent uptime calculated from stored checks. Any authenticated user can request a CSRF-protected manual refresh. A process-local background loop runs checks when they are due.
ICMP depends on network routing, the target's firewall and the container's NET_RAW capability. Treat an Unknown or Down result as a diagnostic prompt, not immediate evidence of service failure. Multiple Kaya replicas can duplicate monitoring because there is no shared job coordinator.
