Site Administration Overview

Only an active Admin can open System Settings > Site Administration. The current hierarchy is:

General, Security and Uploads;
Authentication: General, OpenID Connect, Claim & Role Mapping, Account Links;
Email: General and Email Templates;
Module Settings: Backup Manager, Dashboard, DNS Manager, VLAN/IP Manager, Remote Manager, Secret Vault and Secure Send.

Admin-only navigation also includes Team > Users, Data Management, Audit Logs and About Kaya. Settings are primarily stored as database key/value rows, despite the historical internal table name remote_manager_settings.

Most saved database settings take effect without a restart. Environment settings, Compose ports and bind mounts require a container recreate. Test buttons can make network or email connections and are restricted in demo mode.
