Editors and Admins add a Proxmox host in Infrastructure > VM/Docker Manager. Kaya polls the API to retain host, workload, inventory and metric information.

Create a dedicated Proxmox API token with read access to the intended scope. Enter the endpoint and token identity/secret in Kaya, choose a bounded polling interval and test/sync the host. The token secret is encrypted at rest.

Use a trusted TLS certificate and network ACLs limiting API access. A successful host save does not prove every node or workload is visible; compare inventory with the token's Proxmox scope.

To remove the integration, delete the compute host after review, then revoke the API token in Proxmox.
