Backup Manager
Track manual backups and coordinate agent-backed workload jobs.
Open Infrastructure > Backup Manager. This module has two distinct purposes: manual backup records and jobs for supported Docker workloads.
Editors and Admins can add a manual record containing a name, source, target, schedule, owner, last state, last-run time, notes and enabled state. These records document backup activity; Kaya does not execute a manual record's schedule.
For a Docker workload whose agent reports backup capability, configure its policy and target, then queue a backup. Restore queues a job from the latest suitable successful artifact. The agent polls Kaya, performs the work and returns state, logs, size, artifact location and errors.
Backup targets are Admin-configured local, SMB, FTP or SFTP-style destinations. Target and job secrets are decrypted for an authenticated agent during dispatch. This module does not back up Kaya itself; see Backing Up Kaya.
